356If a person referred to in paragraph (f) of the definition member of the family class in subsection 2(1) of the former Regulations made an application under those Regulations for a permanent resident visa, or their sponsor submitted a sponsorship application under those Regulations, before June 28, 2002, the person’s application or the sponsorship application, as the case may be, is governed by the former Act.
